Using the Accessibility Fields New Accessibility Feature Group Added to the MLS System To assist homebuyers and our Members who need accessibility features in a home, SWMRIC has added two new fields to the MLS computer system: Access. Featrs Y/N (Accessibility Features Yes/No) field and an amenity field called Accessibility Featrs (Accessibility Features). The Access. Featrs Y/N field is a required field and is searchable. If you choose Yes for this field, the system will require that you check at least one item from the "Accessibility Featrs" amenity group. The items in the amenity group are also searchable under the Additional Criteria tab on the search screen. Because we needed to limit the length of the name of each item in the amenity group to 20 characters, we’ve used abbreviations. An explanation of the abbreviations used follows the amenity group below. Accessibility Featrs field choices: No-Step Entrance Covered Entrance Ramped Entrance Covered Ramp 36 in. Entrance Door 36 in. or + Hallway 42 in. or + Hallway Access. Mn Flr Bdrm Access. Mn Flr HBath Access. Mn Flr FBath Grab Bar Mn Flr Bath Low Threshold Shower Lever Door Handles Access.
